The Company menu gathers everything that belongs to the business as a whole rather than to one customer or vendor: the Home Page and Dashboard, the calendar and to-do list, company information and users, the closing date, budgets and forecasts, currencies, the Chart of Accounts and journal entries, and the settings for this computer.

Click Company on the menu bar, or rest the pointer on it.
Or press Alt+C.

Company Snapshot, Calendar, To Do List, Reminders and Company Information use the Dashboard's permission. Like every page and form on the menu, they open over the Home Page, so Esc always brings you back Home.

This computer

Grey lines divide the menu into these groups.

Common problems

Ctrl+1 opens something other than the Dashboard. Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+9 open the areas of the app in the order your role can see them; the Dashboard is first unless your role cannot see it.
Make General Journal Entries is missing. Your role cannot open the Journal. Ask for it to be added to your role.
Forecast is missing from Planning & Budgeting. The company does not have the Forecast module, or your role cannot see it.
A permission window appears for Set Up Users and Roles or App Settings. These are administration screens with their own permission. Someone whose role includes it can approve.
