Add/Edit Multiple List Entries shows your customers, vendors or items as a spreadsheet. Change any cell in place, add new customers or vendors at the bottom, or copy rows from Excel and paste them in. Save Changes saves every row you touched at once.
Opening it
Lists ▸ Add/Edit Multiple List Entries…. It opens over the Home Page; Esc takes you back to the Home Page. It needs permission for the Customer Centre.
The controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Customers / Vendors / Items | Which list to show. Switching with unsaved changes asks Discard your changes? (Keep editing or Discard). |
| Search… | Shows only rows containing the text. Changed rows stay visible. |
| Add Row | Adds a blank row at the bottom (customers and vendors only). |
| Paste from Excel | Adds a row for each line copied from Excel (customers and vendors only). |
| Save Changes (N) | Saves the N changed and new rows. |
The count at the bottom shows how many rows there are and how many are changed. A changed row is tinted with a pencil icon, a new row has a "new" icon, and a row that could not be saved is red with an error icon — point at it to read why.
The columns

Change entries, step by step
- Choose Customers, Vendors or Items.
- Find the rows with Search… if the list is long.
- Click into cells and type the new values.
- Choose Save Changes.
SeroBooks reports N of M saved. Rows in red were not saved; fix them and save again.
Add customers or vendors from Excel
- In Excel, arrange the columns in the same order as the grid (for vendors: Company, Contact, E-mail, Phone, Address, City, Province/State, Postal Code, Country, Tax No., Terms (days)).
- Copy the rows. A first row of headings is fine; it is skipped.
- Choose Paste from Excel. SeroBooks says N row(s) pasted — check them, then Save Changes.
- Check the new rows and choose Save Changes.
If there is nothing on the clipboard: Nothing to paste — copy rows in Excel first, columns in the order shown here.
New items cannot be added here: New items are added on the item form; this list edits the ones there.

- Changing an item's Item Name renames the item, including all its variations. Changing Sales Price updates the price including tax too.
- The grid shows up to 5,000 rows per list.
