Stock at Amazon costs you money every month, and some of it costs more than it earns. The Storage screen shows what storage has actually cost, which stock has sat unsold for 90 days, which units Amazon will not sell but still stores, and, when Amazon has sent its inventory age report, which units are past 181 days and heading for a long-term storage surcharge.
How to open it
Amazon ▸ Storage.
The screen is built on Amazon's daily stock snapshot. Until the first snapshot arrives it shows No FBA stock snapshot has been pulled yet.
The summary tiles
| Tile | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Storage charged | Storage fees Amazon has actually taken over the last 12 months, read from your settlements. none billed yet if nothing. |
| Not sold in 90 days | Units in stock at Amazon of SKUs with no Amazon sale in the last 90 days (amber when above zero), with the number of SKUs. |
| Unfulfillable | Units Amazon will not sell but still stores (red when above zero), with the number of SKUs, or all stock sellable. |
| Long-term surcharge | Projected long-term storage surcharge and the number of SKUs past 181 days, when Amazon has sent the age report; otherwise not reported with Amazon has not sent the age report. |
| At Amazon | Units at Amazon and number of SKUs, as of the snapshot date. |
A note under the tiles explains where each figure comes from. When Amazon has not delivered an age report, it says so plainly: an unknown surcharge is not the same as nothing ageing out. Age bands and projected fees are Amazon's own and are not recalculated by SeroBooks.
Filters
| Chip | Shows |
|---|---|
| Needs a look | The default: SKUs not sold in 90 days, with unfulfillable units, or with units past 181 days. |
| Not sold in 90 days | Stock with no sale in 90 days (including SKUs that have never sold). |
| Unfulfillable | SKUs with unfulfillable units. |
| Past 181 days | SKUs with units past 181 days (needs the age report). |

A monthly storage review, step by step
- Open Amazon ▸ Storage and read the tiles: Storage charged tells you what storage has already cost this year; Unfulfillable and Not sold in 90 days tell you what is not earning.
- Stay on Needs a look (the default). The rows costing the most are at the top.
- Sort by Last sold to see the SKUs that have gone longest without a sale, including those that have never sold.
- Check Past 181d and Will cost for any SKU heading for a long-term surcharge.
- Decide for each: promote, reprice, or remove. Use Export to take the list to Seller Central.
What to do with idle or unfulfillable stock
- Idle stock: consider a promotion, a price change, or a removal order in Seller Central before the surcharge applies.
- Unfulfillable stock: Amazon will not sell it. Create a removal order in Seller Central to have it sent back or disposed of. Units shipped back to you appear on Returns for you to book into stock.
Storage fees themselves post to Amazon FBA Storage through the settlement journal. See Fees.
Common problems
Past 181d is empty everywhere. Amazon has not sent its inventory age report. The Past 181 days chip then says the age is unknown rather than claiming nothing is ageing.
Storage charged says "none billed yet". No storage fee has appeared in a settlement imported in the last 12 months. Storage is billed monthly and arrives with the next settlement.
The Last sold column says "never". The SKU has never had an Amazon sale that SeroBooks has imported.
