What is on hand, everywhere, right now
The stock levels screen is the store's pulse: every product, every location, on hand right now — and every number opens into the movements that made it, because a quantity you cannot explain is a quantity you cannot trust.
What you get
The two questions, answered all day
Do we have it — and if not, does another branch? Stock Levels is the live position across locations: here and everywhere, per item, with price and category alongside. Search by name or code, filter to one warehouse or all, and the answer is on screen before the customer finishes asking.
Enter opens Product 360 for the highlighted line, so the follow-up — price levels, batches, last purchase — is one key away.
The reorder worksheet is the same list
Flip the low/out filter and the list becomes the buying worksheet: everything at or below its reorder level, plus anything at zero. Set reorder points on products and this view maintains your shopping list continuously; the New PO screen is its natural next tab.
Comparing branches here is how you find stock to transfer instead of re-order — the cheaper answer, sitting in view.
Live means live
Quantities read from the server at the moment you look — the header timestamps it — so the number you promise a customer is the number that exists. Sales, receipts, transfers and adjustments all move it in real time, from any till or location.
Negative stock is called what it is: missing paperwork. The fix is the unentered purchase, and the screen says so rather than letting the count be quietly forced.
Frequently asked questions
Why does drill-down matter?
Because a wrong number has a cause. The movement history turns 'the count is off' into 'this transfer was never received' — fixable, not mysterious.
