The customer book, with balances that are live

Your customer list lives locally, so search is instant and works offline — but every balance shown is fetched live from the server, never guessed from stale data. Double-click a name to see their whole story: invoices, payments, returns, credit.

Identity local, money live

The customer book splits its data the way a counter actually uses it. Identity — names, phones, emails, addresses — is held on the device, so search is instant and works offline. Balances and credit positions read live from the server, so the number you quote a customer standing at the till is never stale. Fast where fast matters, true where true matters.

Search matches name, phone and email at once; on a busy counter, the phone number is usually the fastest key there is.

An account is a relationship, not a row

Open a customer and their whole relationship is there: balance and available credit, credit limit, group membership, tax details, addresses for billing and shipping, and the document history — every invoice, payment, credit note and order. The 'what did I buy last time?' question, answered while the customer is still mid-sentence.

Billing address drives tax where place-of-supply rules apply, so a customer set up correctly once is taxed correctly forever.

Credit limits with teeth

A credit limit here is enforced at the till: a sale that would push the account over is flagged before charging. That single behaviour converts the customer file from record-keeping into risk control — exposure is capped per account, by policy, without staff needing to remember anyone's standing.

Balance, limit and available credit sit side by side on the list itself, so the conversation about terms happens with the numbers already on screen.

Groups do the pricing

Put a customer in a group — Wholesale, Staff, Contractor — and their pricing follows automatically on every document: invoices, quotes, orders. No per-sale discounts to remember, no discretion at the counter, no unwinding mistakes later. The group is set once, on the customer, where policy belongs.

Everything syncs across tills and locations, so the account a customer opened downtown works at the warehouse counter — same balance, same terms, same history.

Frequently asked questions

Can staff see supplier costs on customer screens?

No — cost and margin visibility is its own permission, so a sales clerk can serve customers without seeing what you pay.
