Know what your Amazon ads really cost — and what they really return
Amazon bills advertising outside the settlement, so most sellers' books never see it — the dashboard says profit while the card statement says otherwise. SeroBooks connects to the Amazon Ads API and puts advertising where it belongs: daily spend by campaign type on the same P&L as your fees and returns, TACOS on every period, and a profit line that subtracts what the ads cost.

Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't my accounting software already show ad spend?
Because Amazon invoices card-paid advertising completely outside the settlement reports that accounting integrations read. Ads data only exists in the Amazon Ads API, which is a separate authorisation — SeroBooks connects to it directly.
What is TACOS and why does it matter?
Total Advertising Cost of Sales: ad spend divided by total revenue. ACOS only compares spend to ad-attributed sales; TACOS compares it to everything, which is what tells you if the whole business depends on paid traffic.
Does this change my net profit numbers?
It adds lines rather than rewriting them: profit before advertising keeps its definition, and profit after advertising appears beneath it with the spend itemised in between.
