A QuickBooks alternative for Mac users
Mac users often end up running accounting in a browser tab, or on a Windows machine kept just for the books. SeroBooks installs as a real Mac app, with the menus and forms QuickBooks Desktop users know, and the same company opens on every other device too.
A real Mac app
Download and install SeroBooks for macOS from the website.
Same company everywhere
Open the books on a Mac at the office, Windows at the warehouse and an iPad on the floor.
Familiar menus and forms
The QuickBooks Desktop style of menus, Home Page and forms, on your Mac.
Nothing to merge
Everyone works in the same live books, so there are no files to send back and forth.
Accounting that fits a mixed office
Few businesses are all Mac or all Windows. In SeroBooks it does not matter: the Mac app, the Windows app, the iPad and Android apps and the web all open the same company. A bookkeeper on Windows and an owner on a Mac see the same numbers at the same time.
Everything, not a lighter version
The Mac app is the full product: invoicing, bills, banking and reconciliation, inventory, sales tax, more than 160 reports, and payroll in the Pro plan. Forms open in their own windows, dates can be typed, and reports open the documents behind them.
Moving from QuickBooks
If your company is in QuickBooks Desktop on a Windows machine, SeroBooks can connect to it and read the company across, or import an IIF file. From QuickBooks Online, it imports the standard exports. A dry run shows the trial balance before anything is written.
